Michael PA5M is on tour again for his WFP work of the UN. This time he is back in Somaliland, east Africa, for an unknown period at this time.He will be traveling around a lot this time so he will only be able to operate when there's enough time to put up the wire antenne.
His first activity was on April 7th 2005 from Hargeysa. On the 9th he was in Boosaaso for 5 day's.....and then he went back to Hargeysa again. He was qrv as much a possible inbetween his work. He has been active on 80-10m in 4 different modes. SSB,CW, RTTY and ver little PSK31. Main activity was during his local evenings, after 18.00z.using wire antenna's and a FT857 with 100W max. output power.
Michael will return back to 6O on the 17th of Januari 2007 after a long period of troubles in Somalia ( When you follow the news sometimes, you know what's happing down there ) He will stay in Somalia for a short period of 7 to 10 day's, but due to safety reason this might change. Most activity will be during his local evenings and nights.

On May 23rd 2006 6O0M has been approved ok for DXCC credit by ARRL...cards will be accepted from now on.
